Tom Wylie is a brilliantly garrulous Glaswegian bus driver. A man who takes his job very seriously without taking life too seriously. He’s very funny, very sharp and great company. The bus journeys themselves are not quite as scintillating. Guernsey is very picturesque but there are probably better ways to see it than by riding a bus for nine hours a day, as it wends its way along narrow curving roads and rolling hills while you try to keep your lunch down.So I’d like to say a huge thank you to Tom for being a pleasure to spend time with in difficult conditions.
