Photographing a winter wedding in Aberdeenshire should have involved rain, hail and even snow but Saturday’s wedding at Old Meldrum House Hotel just north of Aberdeen was blessed with the most beautifully sunny spring day.
Eleanor and John could not have picked a more perfect wedding venue. Old Meldrum House Hotel is a romantic Scottish Castle complete with marquee.

Rachel and Andrew’s lake district wedding photography. Low winters sun forms the backdrop for this shot of the couple in Langdale, what it doesn’t show is how cold it was that day 🙂
Their wedding was at The Langdale Chase hotel, as seen on the TV series “The Lakes” with Rory Mcgrath each week, and was photographed by Derwent Photography of Keswick.
Wedding preps in the Castle. The blusher brush gets ’em every time!

London and Dulwich wedding photography by Hampshire wedding photographer Shootinghip. Capturing moments you never expected at your wedding. I love the irony of the couples fantastic day coupled with baby clearly having other ideas. For more on this Dulwich wedding follow the link to my blog.
